Sonoma, California - The weekend at Sonoma Raceway was nothing short of exhilarating for Charlie Hayes Racing (CHR) in partnership with REVL Motorsports! The team revved up for a thrilling finale at the Porsche Sprint Challenge by Yokohama and the third round of the inaugural North America Porsche Endurance Challenge.

Fresh off a solid P6 finish at the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup in Spa-Francorchamps—the world’s first endurance race exclusively for the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup—and a triumphant victory by Charlie at Road America, the dynamic duo of Charlie Hayes and Reinhold Krahn brought home a solid P5 finish in the Sonoma Endurance Challenge aboard the #233 car. This impressive performance helped Hayes maintain his lead in the overall endurance championship.

In the #250 car, owned by Porsche enthusiast Matt Dusek, newcomer Aaron Jeansonne also made waves, clinching an impressive victory! Starting from third, he expertly navigated a competitive field, showcasing his skills and setting the pace with flair. “I’m incredibly proud of the experienced team we’ve assembled for the endurance series. We’re excited to keep fighting for the endurance championship at COTA in November!” said Charlie Hayes, beaming with pride.

As the final races of the Porsche Sprint Challenge USA West series unfolded, Masters driver Reinhold Krahn faced a rocky start. The yellow and blue “poison dart” #223 car found itself at the back of the pack after a qualifying incident. “I was thrilled with how the cup car was handling and had some of my best times of the weekend—I just got a bit greedy on the exit of Turn 6 and lost the rear end,” Reinhold explained with a chuckle.

Despite the setback, Reinhold rallied in Race 2, securing an impressive P2 podium finish in the Masters class, just behind the series champion, Kevin Woods.

Looking ahead, all eyes are on Circuit of The Americas, where one race remains for the endurance series! From November 22–24, the excitement will ramp up for a thrilling six-hour endurance race. Charlie, Reinhold, and Le Mans-experienced driver Thomas Merrill will team up in the Purpose Investments-sponsored #233 car, ready to take on the challenge and fight for victory.

With the momentum building, the excitement is palpable as Charlie Hayes Racing prepares to continue the chase for glory at COTA next month. Stay tuned for more high-speed action!
